Chakra Gemstones

There are a lot of gemstones and crystals out there that can help you with your everyday life. One way that gemstones can help your life is by using them to open and align your chakras. There are a lot of different chakra gemstones and by using one from each category you can work toward opening and aligning your chakras. By keeping the energy flowing as it should you help to keep illness away.

Higher Crown.

Starting at the top, just above your head is a chakra most don’t consider. However, the energy around you is important. The chakra gemstones for the higher crown is kunzite, apophyllite, celestite, muscovite, selenite, petalite, and azeztulite.

Crown.

At the very top of your head, just resting on your skull is the crown chakra. The colors for this chakra tend to fall into the white, violet, or gold categories. The chakra gemstones for the crown include clear quartz, pale amethyst, purple sugalite, opal, tourmaline, apophylite, diamond, herkimer diamond, moldavite, citrine, quarz, red serpentine, purple jasper, clear tourmaline, golden beryl, lepidolite, and purple sapphire.

Brow or 3rd Eye.

The next chakra is in the middle of the forehead and is called the brow or 3rd eye chakra. The colors for this chakra are a deep blue or indigo blue and or purple. The chakra gemstones for the 3rd eye is a really long list. They include amethyst, sodalite, blue tiger’s eye, lapis lazuli, purple flourite, sugalite, dumortierite, blue aventurine, charoite, tanzanite, dark blue kyanite, watermelon tourmaline, labradorite, moonstone, apophyllite, moldavite, azurite, herkimer kidamond, garnet, kunzite, lepidolite, malachite when it is mixed with azurite, royal sapphire, electric blue obsidian, azeztulite, and atacamite.

Throat.

At your throat lies the next chakra. This one tends to be light blue or turquoise. The chakra gemstones for the throat chakra include sapphire, turquoise, lapis lazuli, aquamarine, blue lace agate, angelite, blue topaz, blue kyanite, blue chalcedony, blue calcite, blue opal, lariman, kyanite, azurite, amethyst, blue tourmaline, kunzite, lepidolite, blue obsidian, and petalite.

Higher Heart.

The higher heart chakra isn’t one that everyone counts. However there are a couple of chakra gemstones that can help keep it open, energized, and balanced and that include dioptase and kunzite.

Heart.

The heart chakra’s colors are green and pink. The chakra gemstones that correlate with the heart chakra include malachite, moss agate, jade, rose quartz, green aventurine, rhodochrosite, pink kunzite, rhodonite, pink opal, lepidolite, green quartz, emerald, green tourmaline, varisate, muscovite, red calcite, rhodomite, watermelon tourmaline, pink tourmaline, peridot, apophyllite, lepidolite, morganite, pink danburite, ruby, and green sapphire.

Solar Plexus or Navel. 

The solar plexus or navel chakra lies in the belly area. It’s color is yellow and the chakra gemstones are citrine, amber, yellow topaz, yellow jade, golden topaz, yellow calcite, yellow aragonite, golden tiger’s eye, moonstone, peridot, jasper, and golden beryl.

Sacral.

The sacral chakra is found between the belly button and the junction between the legs. The sacral chakra’s colors are orange, red, and the colors in between. The chakra gemstones include carnelian, orange agate, golden topaz, tiger’s eye, orange or golden amber, sunstone, peach aventurine, chrysocolla, jade, ruby, red jasper, and blue jasper.

Base or Root.

The base chakra or root chakra is located in the genitals. It’s colors are red, black, and brown. The chakra gemstones include red jasper, red tiger’s eye, black tourmaline, garnet, hematite, obsidian, black onyx, dark ruby, smoky quartz, bloodstone, azurite, chrysocolla, golden topaz, and carnelian.

Earth.

The earth chakra is located at the bottom of the feet or under you. The chakra gemstones include the boji stone, fire agate, brown jasper, smoky quartz, cuprite, hematite, mahogony obsidian, tourmaline, and rhodonite.

Other.

In addition to all of the chakra gemstones there is also blue kyanite which aligns the chakras without you thinking about it and kunzite which is excellent for removing blockages.

To get the benefits of these stones you can collect one from each chakra and meditate with them. You can meditate with one of the chakra gemstones in an area you feel needs attention. You can also choose to purchase some chakra jewelry. Chakra jewelry will have at least one crystal from each chakra and will be designed to open, balance, and align. wearing chakra jewelry can be a very good idea for keeping yourself healthy.
